Here at Blood Red Dragons, we carefully select babies from all our clutches. The reason we do this is so that we can continue our breeding programme from the different bloodlines we use. As experienced bearded dragon breeders, we are well aware that breeding red monsters can be complicated, so here at Blood Red Dragons we aim to continue achieving greatness by carefully selecting our future pairings and by holding our dragons back. This gives us the best option on choosing who we decide to breed.

Why hold back?

We also release some of our babies from our holdbacks at older ages to show the health, the quality and the colours shining through, as they mature. As all the more experienced bearded dragon breeders are aware, purchasing a more mature red bearded dragon is better for you to carefully select what you want to add for your own breeding programme.
